La Bestia — “The Beast” is our bold, Bordeaux-inspired expression of Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon and old-vine Cabernet Franc. Dark and concentrated, it opens with blueberry compote and black currant, layered with notes of pencil lead, iron, and Earl Grey tea. The palate is remarkably juicy and refined, balancing voluptuous fruit with bright acidity, depth, and beautiful tension. Fine-grained tannins provide structure and a long, persistent finish.
From a spectacular vintage and aged for 23 months in barrel, La Bestia is powerful yet beautifully proportioned—a wine of substance, complexity, and longevity. Patience will reward those who cellar it, with an expected drinking window of 3–15+ years.
