2019 Methode Champenoise Brut Rose'
Tasting Notes
Bright aromas of orange peel, citrus, and lemon meringue are layered with warm notes of brioche and baked apple. A fine, persistent mousse and silky texture lead to a vibrant palate with remarkable finesse, finishing crisp, elegant, and refreshing.
The 2019 growing season was exceptional in the Willamette Valley. Following a cool spring, the vineyard enjoyed a warm, dry summer with only a few brief heat spikes. Cooler temperatures returned in early September, allowing the fruit to ripen gradually while preserving freshness and natural acidity.
This third release was disgorged in two tranches to ensure optimal freshness. The first tranche of 234 six-packs was disgorged in August 2023, followed by 614 six-packs in October 2024.
Our third release of Estate Brut Rosé continues to showcase the exceptional quality of our Biodynamically farmed estate vineyard in Oregon's Willamette Valley. Crafted in the traditional Méthode Champenoise, the 2019 vintage is a blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay.
