Deep and expressive, this vintage reveals layers of blueberry compote and black currant accented by graphite, iron, and Earl Grey tea. The palate is concentrated yet refined, with remarkable purity, vibrant acidity, and a beautifully balanced texture. The growing season delivered an exceptional balance of ripeness and freshness, with a cooler spring, dry summer, and a gradual September finish that allowed for extended flavor development. Led by Clone 8, the wine captures the bold character of Red Mountain with its signature structure, generous fruit, and mineral depth.
