2023 Rose' of Pinot Noir, 750ml
You are invited to delight your senses with this crisp and refreshing expression of spring in the Willamette Valley. Our 2023 Rosé was
intentionally made by dedicating two blocks from our Biodynamically-farmed Estate Vineyards to bring focus, intent and frame the
structure around lively acidity while capturing an almost delicate expression that gracefully dances across the palate. The growing season
yielded optimal quality with minimal disease pressures and ample yields. Whole clusters and destemmed berries were hand-sorted prior
to undergoing a gentle Champagne press cycle. A dry Rosé, brimming with esters of wild strawberries and watermelon, a potpourri of
fresh spring blossoms, and subtle citrus rind plus star jasmine aromas. Leads with nice flesh, transitioning to a backbone of crisp balanced
acidity with effortless weight in the mouth followed by a lingering, refreshing finish. Enjoy this wine in its youth, as it is a versatile, foodfriendly
wine that can compliment a range of foods from briny to savory.
Aged for 5 months in a 100% stainless steel tank. Harvested yields were approximately 2.5 tons/acre. The grape clusters were
harvested during the cool, early morning hours and hand sorted prior to pressing. Juice was gravity fed into tank, chilled and
settled off gross lees overnight, inoculated with Melody® yeast (a blend of three strains: Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Torulaspora
delbrueckii and Lachancea thermotolerans), fermented slowly under regulated cooler temperatures… all with the end-goal to
yield more complexity while complimenting and preserving the bouquets freshness and purity of fruit.
