7 Year Tawny Pinot Port
Solera Pinot Noir Dessert Wine
A rare expression from our Solera barrel program, this dessert-style Pinot Noir is a blend of three exceptional vintages—2009, 2010, and 2012—selected from barrels with a minimum of seven years of age. Crafted from our ripest Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir lots, this unique wine captures the richness, elegance, and complexity that only time can reveal.
Tasting Notes
Seductive aromas of cherries jubilee, caramel, and toasted nuts lead to a velvety, tawny-inspired palate. Ruby in color and beautifully balanced, the wine offers layers of candied bright fruit, cassis, and exotic spice with a rich, creamy texture and a refined finish.
Fermentation was intentionally halted at 18 brix with the addition of artisan eau-de-vie from Clear Creek Distillery, preserving the wine’s natural sweetness and intensity. With remarkable finesse and the ability to evolve gracefully over decades, this is a truly distinctive after-dinner experience.
Perfect alongside Roquefort cheese, chocolate truffles, crème brûlée, candied nuts, or enjoyed fireside with a cigar.
