2023 Chardonnay al-di-la', Willamette Valley

A blend of Chardonnay clones 44, 76, 95 from our Biodynamically-farmed Estate vineyard. Aged & fermented in Nomblot concrete egg, French oak puncheon and the balance in stainless tank.

TASTING NOTES
Stunning, layered aromas hinting at lemon, tangerine, lychee and honey reveal its pure, clean varietal character. The nose provides a stark contrast to the intense palate accented by crisp flavors of green apple & honeydew. While the fruit is clearly in the front seat, the backseat beholds mineral undertones and clean, bright acidity. Medium-bodied, there’s a wonderful balance and sheer depth of pure varietal that underlies the tension of crisp fruit and wet stone. The second sip lingers to an unforgettable length. Best 2025-2029.

Tasting notes

Crisp and appealing, it reveals subtle floral notes with a hint of toffee and stone, ultimately leading to an intense palate of fresh pears and tropical fruits. Steely and full-bodied in style, with a round midpalate intertwining perfectly with its lively acidity and finishing with a touch of vanilla. It should develp with a little age ~ should you be hold off that long!
